We demonstrated the presence of cell subpopulations at various stages of the differentiation with such immunophenotypes as CD34+/lowCD45hi (1), CD34++CD45hi(2), CD34+/lowCD45low/- (3), CD34++CD45low/- (4) and CD34+++CD45low/- (5) in Term Placenta which implies their higher phenotypic heterogeneity compared to CB.
The HPCs compartment of Term Placenta versus CB contained higher number of myeloid and erythroid committed cells but lower number of myeloid and lymphoid ones compared to FL HPCs
We have demonstrated that the Term Placenta contains precursors of hematopoietic cells. On the 14th day of growth they gave rise to all types of morphologically distinguished colonies such as BFU-E, CFU-E, CFU-M, CFU-GM, and CFU-GEMM
